dc.description.abstract PT. ABC is one of the biggest electrical companies in Indonesia. They have more than 7000 employees in all plants in Indonesia. That means, they are responsible for the safety of more than 7000 people in the workplace of PT. ABC. The problem arises when the company does not treat the workers in the office area equally with those who work in production area. They are more concern about the safety in the production area, underestimating the dangerous that can happen in the office area. For the last 3 years, 144 accidents took place in the office area, causing minor until serious injuries to the workers. Therefore, failure mode and effect analysis is used as a tool to help identify, prioritize, and eliminate workplace hazards in office area so that future accidents can be prevented. As the result of this research, 5 hazards are identified. The severity, occurrence, and detection ranking can be reduced so that the future risk priority numbers are improved by 88%, 90%, 83%, 83%, and 90% for each hazard. en_US
