dc.description.abstract Diversity can produce a variety of attitudes and thoughts that are diverse because they are influenced by various backgrounds. The diversity of the council considers the existence of minority groups in the composition. One minority group in the composition is female on board. The existence of this gender diversity can provide a broader view on decision making and produce higher innovation so that it can improve the company's financial performance. The sample of this research are the companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange which publishes an annual report in 2016-2017. This research is expecting that the results more relevant to understanding the existing conditions in Indonesia since the data in 2016- 2017a. The research sample is the company engaged in Real Estate Properties. In analyzing this research data and testing hypothesis, the researcher used descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests, and multiple regression model. While the tool used in processing data is SPSS 25. Finding show that the percentage of female in leading a real estate and property company and age female board members does not have a significant effect on ROA, while the educational attainment of female board members have a significant effect. en_US
