dc.description.abstract PT. X is one of the company in Indonesia which is engaged in heavy equipment contractor. In the fabrication area of this company, there is Horizontal Boor Machine, located in line Light Vessel 1500. The highest disorder currently occurred in this station is one of the operator got Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTDs). It cause the operator to do surgery on his right hand on August, 2013 and surgery on his left hand on September, 2014. Moreover, there is symptom of CTDs problem will be occurred on another operator. The problem occurred is because of un-proper shelf of tools and no safety equipment provided for the operators in doing daily working activity. After the working tools created, then working process of the operators in this station will be improved. Comparison of REBA scoring method is used to show the risk level improvement of each working element the operators done. The solution of this problem is done by creating new design of Shelf of Tools and providing new Aid Working Tool products for the operators. These new design of products can help the operators in lifting and holding the tool, so the operators do not need to use forceful exertion anymore. en_US
