The lack of coverage of vaccination in Indonesia is an important problem in completing vaccinations for children to improve public health. The level of knowledge that is still lacking, negative maternal attitudes about vaccination and family support that are less supportive have an effect on mothers to bring their babies to health facilities to get vaccinations. This study aims to determine the dominant factors in completing child vaccinations to improve public health levels. The study was conducted in North Cikarang, Indonesia. The questionnaire contained 17 statements distributed to 110 respondents who were selected using non probability sampling, namely purposive sampling. Knowledge, Attitudes, and Family Support were used in this study to measure the completeness of vaccinations and to use factor analysis that produced 5 dominant factors in completing vaccinations for children to improve public health levels in North Cikarang Subdistrict, mother's knowledge, family knowledge, family support, maternal compliance, and scientific information on the completeness of vaccinations. From this research, it is expected that health workers can provide information about basic immunization to infants so that mothers can understand and realize the importance of vaccinating in full to their children. |
