dc.description.abstract | In a company human resources have a very important role for the continuity of their activities. One of the factors that can maximize employee performance is a good work environment and applying discipline to the organization of the company. In this study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and discipline on employee performance through motivation as a mediating variable. Case studies conducted at PT. PT BERKAH CIPTA PERSADA in Cikarang. This study uses a quantitative method and uses path analys. The data collection method of this study uses a Likert scale questionnaire. The population and sample used in this study are 105 employees. The overall calculation results are: work environment variables (X1) has a direct effect on employee performance (Z) as evidenced by the value of the path coefficient of 0.051 and the total effect value of 0.051. The work discipline variable (X2) has a direct effect on employee performance as evidenced by the coefficient value of 0.277 and the total influence value of 0.277. The work environment variable (X1) has an indirect influence on employee performance (Z) mediated by motivation (Y) as evidenced by the results of the indirect path coefficient of 0.144 and the total effect of 0.196. The discipline variable (X2) has an indirect influence on employee performance (Z) mediated by motivation (Y) as evidenced by the results of the indirect path coefficient 0.085 and the total effect of 0.361. There is a positive relationship on all variables that have a unidirectional relationship so it is concluded that the hypothesis tested by this study was accepted. | en_US |
