ANDROID-BASED APPLICATION DHAMMAPADA AND PARITTA BY USING SEQUENCE ALGORITHM

Abstract

The development of information technology at this time is very rapid. And it has become a very important thing for everyone in all aspects. One of most popular information technology is mobile device. Starts from children to adults, they are all know and love using mobile device because it is easy to carry and use. And also, mobile devices in nowadays are equipped with many features that greatly assist human daily activities. With smartphones, people do a lot of activities without having to spend more energy, because now all is done with online. For example, buying goods, selling, learning, entertainment or even for religious purposes, such as worship or religious event are doing by online. This Final Project will discuss about the development of the use of smartphone’s technology to help Buddhist people pray, learn and read dhamma anywhere and anytime, also with an appropriate time in Android Platform. Based on the reason above, Android-based Application Dhammapada and Paritta by using Sequence Algorithm tries to deliver users with sophisticated apps features such as e-book with a multiple language, the sound of each verse and also the story behind each verse with an attractive concept and design. With using a sequence algorithm that will assist users in using the application.
