Abstract

Abandoned animals such as cats or dogs are among the most common types of domestic animals found around humans. There are various reasons for being abandoned, such as financial problems, health problems for the animal, and/or a deceased owner. And sometimes, not all stray animals are left intentionally, some of them are lost pets, and their owners can't find them. These abandoned animals often experience unfortunate fates, such as starvation and even being mistreated by humans. So this android-based mobile application was created to reduce the number of these less fortunate animals. The choice of application development on the Android platform is because Android is the most popular operating system used on smartphones today, so it is hoped that it will make it easier for people to take advantage of this application. This application allows adopters to find abandoned animals that can be adopted more easily. And also to make it easier for adopters to adopt abandoned animals that meet the criteria.
