BLOOD DONATION APPLICATION USING OPEN STREET MAPS TECHNOLOGY BASED ON ANDROID MOBILE

Abstract

In the modern era like today, the use of Smartphones has become the most important part of life, almost everyone all over the world have smartphones that contain many applications to facilitate or fulfil their life needs. Along with the development of mobile applications in all fields, especially in the health sector, it has become very useful. Therefore, the importance of a mobile application that makes it easy for users to register or find a place to donate blood, to maintain their health and can help fellow social beings. In this Final Project, an android mobile application is designed to search and donate blood at blood donor places around the user which is useful for maintaining the health of the user and sharing to other social beings. This application is designed through Android Studio by using the Java language as programming language, as well as using open street maps which are useful for finding out the location of the blood donor area around the user. This Final Project has succeeded in finding the user's location point, so that the application will recommend the closest location for blood donors, and this application can also connect users as donors and donor recipients, so that makes it easier for recipients of blood donors to find blood donors that match their blood type. The result is Application provides recommendations for blood donor sites and can create donor registration forms through the application, as well as when the user becomes a donor Donor recipients can also find donors according to their blood type by sending an email from this application.
