dc.description.abstract Nowadays, technology has become an important thing in helping human daily activities. Technology in information, transportation, communication, infrastructure, and medical are kept advancing. One of the new technologies that people develop is the internet of things (IoT). The development of IoT can be seen by the increased usage of wireless technology, the internet, and microcontroller. The Internet of things is a technology that allows things around us to connect with the internet. This final project proposed to implement IoT in LED light. As many people start to work or do daily activities at home, light sources become a big energy usage. IoT LED light can a solution, not only highly energy- efficient and long-lasting but is also versatile in many lighting uses. IoT LED light will allow users to control or monitor this device easily through a smartphone. This project IoT LED light will be created with the microcontroller of NodeMCU ESP8266 LoLin V3 which allows this hardware to connect with the Wi-Fi and also include several other components, such as LDR sensor module, relay module 5V, and LED strip WS2812B as the main light source. The IoT LED light will be coded with Arduino IDE using the C programming language. The mobile application will be created using the Blynk application, which is effective to develop and able to install on both Android and iOS devices. Moreover, the application is also integrated with Google Assistant which users can control the IoT LED light with voice commands. After the development of the application, this project will be tested by users in order to gain feedback for the improvement or bug fix. en_US
