ANDROID-BASED APPLICATION OF HIJAIYAH LETTER LEARNING FOR KIDS

Abstract

Hijaiyah letters are letters used in Arabic. In addition, hijaiyah letters are also used in the Qur'an because the Qur'an uses Arabic. In order to make it easier for parents who are Muslim, the introduction of hijaiyah letters is carried out when kids are still under the age of five. This is done because kids are very easy to memorize and have a great curiosity about what they see. Kids have different absorption and memory abilities than other ages. Nowadays teaching kids is much more difficult than teaching other ages, because they are very active. Thus, they must apply different and creative learning methods so that kids are able to remember what they see and what they learn. In this current era, mobile learning is very much needed that uses a very attractive visual display and provides many benefits and advantages for kids. Usage of mobile-based applications for learning can trigger learning motivation and also affect the psychology of kids who tend to get bored easily. It is expected that by using mobile-based applications that are used as media for interactive learning because using applications to learn is more fun for kids with various combinations of audio, video, animation, images and also text. This mobile application provides an advantage because it can be installed on various smartphones as long as they are based on Android. This can be used as a means to distract kids who are basically very bored with something. Kids can be more easily invited to use mobile applications, because with this mobile application kids can see at any time at the same time to learn.
