During this global pandemic, everyone was harmed by the spread of the covid-19 virus without any exception, this global pandemic has forced us to change our norm life to keep our physical distance from each other, even if we already keeping our distance with others, yet somehow the virus still finds its way to be spreading and because of that all of us have to quarantine our self. Due to the quarantine many companies suffered a huge loss because of their incapability to be operate therefore, to make their company survive they got to let go their employees and making a lot of people become jobless. Yet despite of how hard this event has caused, there are still so many people that see an opportunity and go for it. One of the opportunities are food and beverage business, but there’s still a problem when it comes to finance. But to manage that problem many small businesses tend to become partner and open their business together in one building but in two different management. Even if this phenomenon already existed, but due to the global pandemic, this type of business relationship becomes popular but there are still few technologies that can support this type of business relationship. For example, these businesses are using a POS to manage their cashier, stocking, and their finance, but still these POS cannot accommodate two business at the same time, and even if it can, it will cause a big fortune. And to avoid that,
businesses just using one cashier and this causing their production flow become slow and tiring.
This thesis is carried out to provide a systematic review and analysis of user/customer quality of services, especially in their experience of ordering foods. This application can be the bridges for two companies and also to the customer so that the customer will have the best experience in ordering food in joining business places without have to worry about where to order their foods or beverages, and also helping us to reducing physical contact between the seller and the customer.
The Idea of the application is based on the current user experience and the already well-known food ordering application. By introducing OYFOOD users/customers are able to achieve a significant level of satisfaction and new experience during their food ordering activity. The main benefit of OYFOOD is to enable users to estimate their order completion, and the restaurant stakeholder are able to manage their finance/profit properly.
Unlike the well-known apps, the OYFOOD has come with several new features, such as customer queuing system and the auto generated report and also sorting the food based on price, name, and most favorite.
The software codes for the OYFOOD are built using Expo and React Native and application testing has been conducted to ensure the suitability of the application. |
