XCR CORRECTX: MOBILE SCANNING AND MULTIPLE-CHOICE ANSWER SHEET CORRECTION APPLICATION SYSTEM

Abstract

Technology plays a significant role in assisting us in carrying out our daily activities in today’s world. With the help of increasingly advanced technology, almost everything can be done more easily. Many parts of daily life can be improved as a result of technological improvements, one of which is education. In Indonesia, educational institutions are already promoting the use of technology in their daily activities. Despite technological advancements, there are still areas in the field of education in Indonesia that have not been totally impacted by technology, one of which is when educators carry out the process of correction on a multiple-choice answer sheet. Through the "XCR CorrectX" application developed in this Final Project, the author will combine OCR and OMR technology to make it easier for educators in Indonesia to do the process of process multiple-choice answer sheet correction, which previously had to be done manually.
