DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERT SYSTEM FOR INITIAL DETERMINATION OF PERSONALITY DISORDER USING DEMPSTER-SHAFER THEORY (DST) IN MULTI-PLATFORM APPLICATION

Abstract

Over the triennial years, the pandemic has already spread and brought an undeniable crisis, uncertain conditions, and unprecedented situations. Mental health has increased along with physical diseases during the pandemic and the lack of accessible mental health support in Indonesia. Technology in mental health support improves the trend of in-person behavior on physical intervention with face-to-face treatments into the adjustment of internet-based through a mobile application by implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI). One of the technology in AI fields is the Expert System to determine mental health as a problem domain, specifically personality disorder. The

idea of the application is to introduce the mental health support application “Elixirs- Apps” so that users can maintain their mental health condition and improve their quality

of life. The main benefit of Elixir Apps is to enable users to take an initial determination test of personality disorder. The application provides the inferencing process with expert knowledge and scientific calculation of Dempster Shafer’s theory. Unlike the well-known apps, the Elixirs App has several support features such as a mood tracker, habit tracker, report test, and personalized access for the user to the application. Also, this application is built using the Flutter framework application, which can access through multiple-platform applications such as Android and iOS.
