dc.description.abstract This thesis is mainly focused on eliminate set-up time for resetting machine CNC using Pallet System in CNC area. Existing project is focused on the time resetting the CNC machine so that the quantity, quality, and costs in order to achieve maximum production. The time of production, costs of production, quality in production, and earn profits in a company is of fundamental importance that the goals can be obtained. PT.XYZ department tools have a problem at the time of production, quantity, and cost. The existence of this thesis discusses how to Eliminate set-up time for resetting CNC machines or downtime on the machine using a pallet system in fexible manufacturing system. The pallet systems can improve the capasity, can reduce production costs, and gain satisfaction from customers. By implement the pallet systems the company can be saving cost per month. Payback has accepted that pallet invested by company is 16,4 months and Incresing Total Saving Cost per year until 17’000 US$ or 1’400 US$ per month. Thus, payback has obtained from calculation that the company attained profit for the next month. en_US
