BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE APP WITH TEXT BASED REPORT

Abstract

The capacity to analyze data and offer guidance for company decision-making is known as business intelligence. This is directly related to Data Mining, namely the ability to process data with the aim of gaining insight and reading patterns that can be used in the decision-making process. These results can only be read and understood by people who are experts in their fields such as Data Scientists, etc. This proposal was made with the aim of developing a web-based application that has data processing capabilities through the data mining method with the output in the form of a report containing data visualization and descriptive paragraphs with the hope that it will be easier for decision makers to understand and make it easier for them to gain insight from the processed data. Data processing will be carried out by implementing statistical methods and techniques in data mining to be able to obtain knowledge and finally this knowledge can be used as a consideration before making decisions, especially in business processes. This application provides results in the form of data visualization with graphs and charts as well as descriptive paragraphs containing conclusions. This proposal was made with the aim of developing web-based business intelligence applications using the data mining method and producing output in the form of descriptive and analytical reports. This application is recommended to all users, especially users who need data analysis in order to make decisions in business processes.
