IMPLEMENTATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEM APPLICTION IN BIDYTOUR TRAVEL COMPANY AS THE RESULT OF OF HARDWARE SERVER FAILURE

Abstract

Nowadays in the modern society, many business ranging from big to small has adopted some kind of information system application in order to aid them in conducting their business operation. To put it simply most of the modern business are now build upon this said information system application, thus it held a high importance the in operational of a company. BidyTour is one of the most prominent regional travel agency located in the Nusa Tenggara Province. Recently BidyTour has suffered a major blow to its ability to conduct their business efficiently due to a major malfunction in the main sever hard drive which resulted in all data within said hard drive to be permanently lost. This means all the application and database, which are used by this company for the past 15 years are now gone and unrecoverable. This final project will discuss about the implementation of an replacement system utilizing some principle from an already establish ERP application into BidyTour travel company. The system will be compliance with the standard processes that has already been established by the company, the reestablishment of this system will help revitalize and further streamline the ability of BidyTour to conduct their business through improving upon the aspect of the outdated predecessor system. In addition to that, There will also be a precautionary system to prevent the same scenario to reoccurred again by creating a proper data backup and storing it in a safe place.
