Electronic commerce (E-Commerce) is the practice of purchasing and selling goods and
services while moving payments and data via the internet. This business transaction
might take place between businesses, between customers, or between customers and
businesses. E-commerce began in the 1960s when businesses began employing electronic
data transfer to share documents with other businesses. The growth of eBay and Amazon
in the 1990s transformed the e-commerce site. E-commerce is being tested with a range
of presentations such as email, online shopping carts, and web services. Nowadays, e-
commerce applications do not differ greatly from one another. However, for mid-range
businesses, e-commerce often cannot fully meet customer needs, for example at PT.
Mitra Adi Nugraha Sejahtera which specifically targets schools as its target market, to the
point where users need to verify the DAPODIK number as an identity, this project is
made entitled "DEVELOPMENT OF: A WEB-BASED E-COMMERCE CASE
STUDY AT PT MITRA ADI NUGRAHA SEJAHTERA" aims to offer an online
marketplace where clients can acquire excellent products within their budgets and
without any problems, they can make their payment online as the usual e-commerce, with
the added capability of verifying the school identity through DAPODIK. Thus,
Customers can take advantage of all of the benefits and satisfy their urge for online
