DEVELOPMENT OF WEB BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR HAJJ AND UMROH TRAVEL IN PT. MUTIARA CINTA IMANI

Abstract

A Management Information System (MIS) is a system that collects, processes, stores, and disseminates information to support decision-making, coordination, control, and analysis in an organization. In our time, MIS has become increasingly important due to the growth of information technology and its impact on productivity in both public and private organizations. For that, a travel company must also adjust to utilizing a management system like the Hajj and Umrah applications. The Mutiara Cinta Imani Application is an application that can help Hajj and Umrah business owners along with admins and staff to gather data on participants who will participate in performing Umrah and Hajj with PT Mutiara Cinta Imani, which can make it easier for admins and staff to accumulate data on these departures. This application can show the total participant data, such as full name, father's name, grandfather's name, Resident Identity Card (KTP), Passport Number, gender, etc. Then this application can make it easier for staff to add Umrah participant data, view Umrah participant data, make an Update to Umrah participant data, and delete Umrah participant data. Of course, this application also provides a search bar that can make it easier for staff to sort and search data using data according to the date of departure, name, gender, etc. A travel agency can use a management information system to help manage and organize their business travel. A travel management system can automate many tasks, such as tracking, and analyzing business travel, this can help improve operations management and make life easier for travel managers.
