The purpose of this quantitative research was to explore and explain the influence
of skills, role clarity, and motivation on the work readiness of university students.
The study utilized an online questionnaire comprising 30 statements, with a Likert
scale employed to measure respondents' agreement levels. A non-probability
convenience sampling method was employed, with 129 participants. The results
indicated a significant influence of skills, role clarity, and motivation on students'
work readiness. Furthermore, the study demonstrated that all independent variables
(skills, role clarity, and motivation) collectively exert a significant influence on
students' work readiness. The implications of this research highlight the importance
of enhancing awareness regarding the significance of internships for students and
emphasize the need for better preparation for work readiness before graduation. |
