dc.description.abstract | This research discusses the influence of compensation and job recognition on career development through work motivation as an intervening variable (Study on Employees of PT. XYZ). The purpose of this study is to find out that there is a gap in the decrease in salary increase movements received by employees indicating the potential for a decrease in the work motivation of employees of PT. XYZ, there is a gap Compensation that is not competitive can be an obstacle in the Career Development of PT. XYZ, there is a gap that non-permanent employees of PT. XYZ is limited in Career Development opportunities. This research uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach and uses a scale Likert as a questionnaire assessment tool. The sampling method used in the research used purposive sampling. The objects used are employees at PT. XYZ with a total sample of 101 respondents. This research uses data analysis methods Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) which is supported with software SmartPLS version 4.0. The results of this research show that: 1) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Career development 2) Acknowledgment of Work does not have a significant effect on Career development 3) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Work motivation 4) Acknowledgment of Work has a positive and significant effect on Work motivation 5) Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on Career development 6) Work motivation capable of providing a mediating effect Compensation to Career development 7) Work motivation capable of providing a mediating effect Acknowledgment of Work to Career development. | en_US |
