dc.description.abstract Waste management is becoming a global concern, with inappropriate disposal methods having a devastating effect on the ecosystem. Recyglow appears as a smartphone application that uses gamification to overcome this obstacle. Recyglow wants to completely change the way people think about recycling by making waste management an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Recyglow's key product is an intuitive platform that helps consumers properly sort and classify trash related to skin care. People are empowered to make knowledgeable decisions about how they dispose of their waste because of this instructional component. Recyglow adds gamification components with ease, building on this base. With the ability to track their recycling efforts, users may keep track of their progress over time and feel a feeling of success. Recyglow uses a point system to further encourage ethical recycling. Users are encouraged to actively participate and contribute to a cleaner environment by earning points for each recycling action they complete. By allowing users to exchange their accrued points for tangible prizes, the positive reinforcement loop is strengthened and user engagement is raised. Recyglow has an impact on communities on a larger scale by encouraging a culture of gamified recycling among its users. Through the process of gamification, Recyglow hopes to accomplish a number of beneficial goals. It is critical that the public understand more about waste management procedures. The software functions as a teaching tool, giving users the information they need to dispose of waste responsibly. Recyglow also fosters a sense of community around ethical recycling, motivating people to take part in a group effort to promote environmental iii sustainability. In the end, Recyglow wants to lower the total amount of waste produced by encouraging appropriate disposal methods and giving people the tools they need to actively influence the environment. This final project explores the conception and creation of Recyglow, closely analyzing its features, gamification components, and the potential revolution in skin care waste management that it may bring about. Recyglow wants to inspire people and communities to build a more sustainable future for the earth by utilizing gamification and encouraging ethical recycling practices. en_US
