dc.description.abstract Nowadays, the way we shop online, influenced by endless ads and changing trends, means we often end up with items we rarely use. This not only poses problems for us but also impacts the environment. Despite being a promising alternative, modern barter trade still struggles with efficiently swapping goods. This study seeks to overcome these challenges by exploring the effectiveness of digital platforms in improving the efficiency of barter trading. This research primarily focuses on two features: an intuitive seamless messaging system and an auto-recommendation tool for predicting product trends based on top categories. The messaging system helps users build trust and stay transparent with each other., enabling them to negotiate, discuss item conditions, and coordinate exchanges effectively. Better communication reduces misunderstandings. This makes transactions smoother and improves the overall experience, helping to build a strong community. Additionally, the auto-recommendation feature provides users with automated insights into the latest product trends, helping them stay informed and make smart trading decisions. By simplifying the process of finding suitable items for exchange, this feature enhances the bartering experience, boosting user engagement and satisfaction. en_US
