The food and beverage industry is one of the industries with the highest demand
because food and beverages are basic human needs. Snacks are a type of food that
people often consume when holding events or just to accompany their free time.
Moodtreats is a start-up business in the food and beverage sector that sells fresh
and quality snacks and prioritizes customer satisfaction. The store located in
Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, which is a strategic location because there are MRT
stations and right inside the Blok M area. This business plan was created as a
foundation in carrying out business operations that help in identifying
opportunities, target markets, to analyzing business obstacles that may occur
because all businesses certainly have risks and difficulties. The products that will
be sold consisting of brownies, cookies, drinks, and various complementary
toppings that can be customized by customers. The marketing targets are generation
Z as the main target, then Millennials and generation X, especially those around the
store location. Short-term and long-term strategy such occasional discount and
loyalty card will be applied as marketing plan as well as using Tiktok, Instagram,
banner, brochure, logo printed on employee uniform, and packaging design. The
products have various advantages that differentiate them from other competitors
who sell similar products with unique flavors, crispy, and light textures while other
businesses tend to be wet like cakes. Industry analyses are carried out such as using
PESTLE analysis, Five Forces analysis, and SWOT. Business marketing is planned
using several strategies such as Segmenting, Targeting, Positioning, 4P Marketing
Mix is also used. The initial business capital needed is Rp 450,000,000 which is
used for property costs and annual operations. The financial plan is made for the
next 5 years and from the financial analysis the results are that the Payback Period
(PP) is estimated to be 3 years and 4 months. |
