As much as we do not want to admit, getting out of bed to simply turn our room lighting on and off might be the hardest thing to do in terms of getting in or out of our bed. It does not matter how far, we just never want to get out of our comfortable mattress and turn our switch off. This project was conducted to deal with that, among other things. The laser, a highly intense beam of light that will give readings up through the roof when used against a light sensor; will give us the versatility that we crave out of a device. Using a BH1750FVI that can easily be interfaced with an Arduino board. The application of this concept can be used for a lot of things, not just switching off a lamp at midnight. You do not even need a remote, just a plain and simple green-laser pointer and this device. |
