The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence from extrinsic work
stress, motivation, and work discipline to the employee performance. For
company PT.XYZ this reseach has benefit as advice, solution, for consideration
on increasing employee performance. Variable analyze in this research were work
stress, motivation, work dicipline and employee performance. Data analyze
method used quantitative analyze which use validity test and reliability test,
classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, F-test, T-test, and coefficient
of determination. Sample decision was based on Slovin’s Formula equation and
the result for the sample is 80 respondens. Result of the research simultaneously
can be seen from Fcompute = 18,103 with significance 0,000 < 0,05. Partially
variables motivation and work dicipline have significance influence toward
employee performance because motivation and work dicipline have significant
value smaller than 0,05. From those two variables, work dicipline has dominant
influence than motivation, while work stress variable is not significant and doesn’t
have influence toward employee performance because work stress has significant
value bigger than 0,05 (0,752 >0,05). Coefficient of determination adjusted R
square value is 0,394 (39,4%). This value means that independent variables (work
stress, motivation, work dicipline) able to explain dependent variable (employee
performance) by 0,394 (39,4%) and the rest 60,6% define by other factors which
not analyzed in this research. |
