The objective of this research is to find the relationship between employee motivation and learning development used McClelland’s Theory. The researcher used McClelland’s theory that can be divided into three categorize, those are need for achievement, need for power, and need for affiliation. This research used quantitative method through survey and data were obtained through questionnaires to gathered 105 respondents. In obtained data, the researcher used non-probability sampling method which is purposive sampling. The sample was taken in Danone Indonesia for employee who already join learning development program. Based on research objective, the data result collected analyzed by validity test, reliability test, and multiple regressions analysis. The finding of this study was 2 employee motivation of McClelland’s Theory has relationship with learning development program in Danone Indonesia. On the other hand, one of employee motivation in McClelland’s Theory has no relationship with learning development that is need for affiliation. Moreover, the result of the R2 test was only 41.9% of learning development could be explained by independent variables. Therefore, from 3 needs of McClelland’s theory, need for affiliation has no relationship with learning development program in Danone Indonesia and need further research for another motivation of learning development. |
