dc.description.abstract The main objective of this project designing the prototype controlling the intersection by using infrared sensor module and to reduce the accumulation at the traffic light. This prototype itself works when the infrared sensor module detects an object and sends the information of the condition at the intersection. The result of this project is if the infrared module sensor detect an object that passing through at the 0 second on the red light situation, then the timer of every each lane will be turn into 30 second. And if it is detects nothing, then the timer would be turn into 10 seconds for every each lane. The sensor also needs to be put right at the back of the traffic light which with a specified distance to make sure the it works when the frequency of the vehicles are quite busy at the intersection because if it is not put at the specified distance, the system would be not that efficiency. The project work as same as the concept that the author want, although at the end this project not allowed the vehicles to turn right since there is no traffic light to control every vehicle to turn right. en_US
