dc.description.abstract |
PT. SGMW has a project to increase production output in the Body Shop area. During production at the Body Shop area, it was found that the highest time was produced at BIW. The total input is 160 product and the output is 120 product. So, the percentage in the production line is 75% and has not reached the 85% target company. This study discusses how to reduce wastes and increase output in the BIW area. Where the initial observations were carried out with Voice of Customer to find out about the wishes and needs of the operator. This study will use the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method which includes House of Quality (HoQ). The focus is to reduce non value activities added by 38 seconds. Then the process of designing a tool is carried out that meets the needs of the technical response. With the existence of these tools, non-value activities are reduced, such as taking bolt / screw. The results of the time with the tools for non value activities to 10 seconds and save time as much as 28 seconds. |
