dc.description.abstract Running change is one of the processes that PT XX still have not used a computerized information system, it has a purpose to create an updated BOM (Bill of Material) and BOS (Bill of substance). The impact of using a manual process in PT XX is a higher time and cost that the company must bear so the reason or causes of high time consumed in the process must be discovered. Through why-why analysis, the root cause of the problem was discovered which are minim daily communication between supervisor and operator and there is no dedicated information system for running change process. And the improvement that can counter all the root causes is by creating a computerized information system. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is chosen as a method to create a good information system based on the current condition. After the improvement have been implemented, the data shows that the time consumed on running change is being reduced by 90%. en_US
