dc.description.abstract |
As the world leading toy manufacturing company, PT MI must be able to maintain the quality of the product to compete with the competitor. The quality of a product is one thing that determine the customer satisfaction and company’s profit. Aesthetics issue is become common thing that have to determine of PT. MI. This research analyzes about the measurements system to measure the level of consistency and accuracy of the inspector in classifying rotohead defect that aim to reduce defect quantity that found in the LBO Inspection. This research succeeded reduce the number of defect quantity in the LBO inspection by conducting Uniform Perception Training to inspector. The quality improvement also aims to reduce the losses that made by the defect product. In order to implement the quality improvement, the research to analyze the level of consistency and accuracy of the inspector in classifying rotohead defect is conducted using six sigma tool which is DMAIC methodology. |
