dc.description.abstract The phenomenon of free trade which facilities the movement of goods, services, and labor has led to a shift in view towards a new view that emphasizes intellectual capital. This shift of view influences the strategy used by companies, namely using a new strategy based on knowledge. The implementation of this new strategy also has an impact on the company's financial statements that are deemed necessary to report other value information held by the company. These other values are related to intangible assets commonly called intellectual capital which are often not included in the balance sheet by the company. This is because intellectual capital is difficult to measure. The existence of undisclosed information will affect the readers of financial statements in making decisions. Based on this phenomenon, researchers were interested in analyzing how to measure the value of intellectual capital using VAICTM method on performance of banking companies, which performance of banking companies are measured using CAMEL method. en_US
