THE ANALYSIS OF PEOPLE’S OPINION ABOUT TOURISM AT TANJUNG LESUNG, PANDEGLANG, BANTEN, WEST JAVA

Abstract

Tanjung Lesung is one of the potential tourist destinations in Pandeglang, Banten, West Java. This is in line with the increasing level of investment in the tourism sector in Banten, but the increase of poverty in Banten is not in line with the situation. The purpose of this research is to analyze people’s opinion about Tanjung Lesung. The factors that influence on people’s opinion will be classified as economic, socio-cultural and environment. This research using survey method with a questionnaire as the instrument to gather the data. A sample of this research is 103 respondents that choose purposively from people who have visited Tanjung Lesung. This research used descriptive and multiple regression analysis. The result of this research indicates that there are significant influences of economic and environment toward people’s opinion. On the other hand, the socio-cultural has no significant influence on people's opinion.
