dc.description.abstract Water used to meet the daily needs of human has different characteristics depending on the quality and amount of substances found in it. Turbidity can performance the quality of water. The raw water used in this research comes from Kalimalang River,Bekasi District. Coagulation and flocculation process is the most important stages to remove the substances in raw water. Detention time is the main parametes for flocculation process. This research aims to designing and assembling the flocculator prototype according to SNI 6774 : 2008 and other references and to find out the optimum of detention time on clarified water turbidity. To collect the data, researcher were running the prototype and analysis the data in 30 minutes of 1 Liter imhoff cone with raw water range of 20-200 NTU in a long dry season at average temperatures of 27,8˚C. The optimum detention time based on result was in 12,0-19,7 minutes. en_US
