dc.description.abstract |
This project is created because in Indonesia there is still many railway crossing without any gate and person who supposed to guard the citizen from passing train. So author consider to create automatic railway gate prototype as the final project. the assumption of this project is to meet the needs in railway crossing in Indonesia. This prototype is using two types of sensor which Infrared sensors two pieces and vibration sensor one pieces. Those sensor are controlled using microcontroller Arduino and as an output the author is using two pieces of motor servo. Testing in this project has been done two session, each session the train looping for 30 times. For the result from this project is, the infrared sensors is working 100 % correctly and the vibration sensor have 36.67 % average rate of error from two session tests. The cause of that error is author using Styrofoam as base of this project and makes the vibration sensor can not receive the vibration properly. |
