“Making”: An Online Cooking Tutorial and Shopping System

Abstract

Today’s society is heavily reliant on online sources. People study,work and search for various solutions to their everyday problems online. The abundance of bandwidth and the speedy development of both front-end and back-end technologies have fueled the growth of online tutorials. From learning how to code and also curious learners are now spoiled with choices. This project is developed with the aim of building comprehensive cooking tutorial with ingredients shopping feature. This web-based application provides recipes and step-by-step videos tutorials to users can learn the right cooking techniques and they can start cooking without going out to multiple stores in order to find the right ingredients. Through this web-based application, people who are new to cooking will gain more confidence in cooking and will be motivated to contionously cook.
