PRESIDENT UNIVERSITY BUS ANDROID APPLICATION USING QR CODE TO BOOK SEAT AND USING GPS TO TRACK DRIVERS

Abstract

Nowadays, almost all the university has their dormitories. Somehow it is a state university or private university. And same in President University, the students are obligated to stay in the dormitory but just in their first year. Students need to go to several places: President Development Center and President Research Center as a place to study, President University Student Housing, New Beverly Hills, and Elvis Tower as a place to take a rest or working their homework. The distance from one to another place takes time if taken on foot. For example, Campus to New Beverly Hills is more than 2 km. The good news is President University has provided a solution for this issue by providing a bus that picks the student up every several times a day. The bus’s route is consisting of their separated buildings. Unfortunately, the student frequently complains about their delays. This thesis will develop an android application that will help the university to enhance the facility of the campus, helping the student with tracking the bus and check the capacity of the bus.
