TRIMITRA PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYTEM FOR CUSTOMER PROJECT PART COSTING SYSTEM IN PT TRIMITRA CHITRAHASTA

Abstract

Managing and controlling projects activity and documentation using manual or traditional process is a very tedious job. Especially the projects given by the customer who need high attention. The main aim of this project is to create an integrated system for managing all the activities and documents of projects. Trimitra Project Management (TPM) system is a system for managing, controlling, monitoring the customer’s project. For now, TPM can manage and monitor the initial project process in PT Trimitra Chitrahasta, which is defining cost process between marketing department and engineering department. Unlike many Project Management software that can be used flexibly, TPM in this costing process is using predefined document flow process so the system will not provide to change the project process manually. This system also specifically built for bridging the communication between marketing and engineering department. TPM allows user with certain authorization for managing and controlling project document from Request for Quotation (RFQ) until publishing final Quotation. TPM also allows the administrator to manage the users and their authorization for certain features flexibly from the system. For further development TPM also provides features for extending or the features of this application.
