WEB BASED APPLICATION FOR COMIC RENTAL USING BARCODE SCANNER

Abstract

Nowadays, the comic industry is developing vastly. It has been increasing so rapidly in every developed country, such as America, Japan, Korea, and even in Indonesia, which is a developing country. Reading a comic is not just an activity to indulge ourselves in our free time; it also gives us some pedagogical knowledge. It teaches the reader about certain subjects, expands concepts, reinforces development, and helps people to understand historical events or cultures. It also assists the user is having a vast point of view as they read the comic. The objective of this thesis is to create a web-based application that can be used for comic rental. dromic is a web-based application that also helps the user to get more information about the comic they want to read. This web application has a goal to help the comic artist because most people like to get something for free. If the reader joins the Dromic, it means they appreciate the comic artist and also already help the comic artist, The author believes that by making this web-based application, it will help most people who want to read comics, and the author believes there will be more creative comic artist.
