IMPLEMENTATION INFORMATION SYSTETM USING SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT AT RETAIL BUSINESS

Abstract

Nowadays, all businesses must use technology in order to compete with other business compatitors. Implementing Information system into a business makes it easier to search and arrange data even more neatly because with Information system all systems are integrated in one database. My family holds a business as a supplier of hotels and restaurants in Belitung. Every day there are many orders from customers that must be processed. With so many total orders every day, the problem faced by my family's supplier business is that all transaction processing orders are still done via traditional records of orders sent via WhatsApp, To overcome these problems need to be developed tools to help manage information about order data from customers, manage inventory data, and manage customer order, precisely and accurately. After analyzing, designing, and implementing, conclusions can be drawn from the development of the implementation of information systems using supply chain management, this thesis is expected to increase productivity in this supplier business also it is hoped that the supply chain transactions will be smoother and less error-prone.
