dc.description.abstract In this digitalized era, most of money transaction can be done through online transaction service platform, especially when it comes to payment transactions. In Indonesia, there are some well-known digital payment service platforms that become very popular in the last few years. These digital payment platforms have been improved over the years covering most of people payment needs even for the basics. Having a large number of users, gives a chance for this service platforms to connect their users together to make in-group payments more effective. Digital payment service platforms have provided some features that allow the users to make transaction with each other. Some digital payment services like DANA and GoPay have implemented transfer and request features allowing the users to transfer and request money with other users. For in-group payment they have also come up with a solution which is Split Bill feature that allows the users to make a bill and split it to other users for them to pay. This feature works, but the Split Bill transactions are separated from the actual payments themselves. This will give an ambiguity for the purpose of each Split Bill transaction. Making another option as the direct payment method to pay together in a group should be more effective and more reliable. This thesis intends to develop a digital payment service platform that connects the users to provide them an effective solution in making transactions, whether it is personally or in a group. Using the combination of Android OS as the main implementation platform, and Firebase Database as the database platform gives a lot of flexibility in the development process. This Android Application will provide transfer feature, request for transfer feature, and payment feature that allows the users to make payments personally or in-group effectively. en_US
