Mining companies are currently facing challenges related to concepts relating to Industry 4.0 to improve efficiency, quality and performance. Instead, increasing complexity at all company readiness in facing Industry 4.0 creates uncertainty about each organization's and technology's capabilities, and appropriate strategies to improve them. In this paper, the authors examine the current condition and expected needed of the company for employee in facing Industry 4.0 in knowledge and skills based on the employees perspective. In this study, the author defines three aspects include "information and communication technology", "innovation for companies" and "organizational learning" have been created to assess the current level of company conditions and the expected needed from the company for facing Industry 4.0. After that, the data collected will be processed into statistical data to analyze the problem. After analysis, the author will find out the reasons for the low current condition of employee readiness in dealing with Industry 4.0 and then submit suggestions for the company. The results obtained several impacts that affect of the company readiness and recommendations from the author to increase the level of employee readiness level in dealing with industry 4.0. |
