E-LEARNING WEB APPLICATION “SAHABAT MUSLIMAH”

Abstract

Nowadays there are many Muslim women that have a busy daily life especially the workers and the housewives. Even with a daily life like that, there are still Muslim women that want to learn and understand more about their religion, Islam. But they did not know where to start to learn or cannot attend majlis ta’lim (Islamic forum) because of various reason such as, the place is too far, the time to learn limited, and etc. This kind of problem can be solved by learning using e-learning application. E-learning application helps its user to learn anywhere and anytime, it is even allows the busiest person to learn in their hectic daily life. In this thesis, an e-learning web application is developed. The web application called ‘Sahabat Muslimah’. In this application it allows the member of application to access a learning material that will be posted weekly by the administrator. The member also can take an exam to test the member’s understanding with the learning material that has been given. The purpose of this web application is to help Muslim women that want to learn more about Islam.
