CREATING AND DEVELOPING DESIGN SYSTEM LIBRARY FOR RCTI+

Abstract

As the intern of RCTI+ I was asked to do slicing for the first task, it was easy and can be quickly finished. The second task, was to make the slicing and add the Bootstrap components to the interface to make it more beautiful and tidy. The next task is to implement CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) Features to make it compatible with the database in MySQL. The fourth task is to make the Design System website which was intended to be a library for the UI/UX department of RCTI+ as they now use Zeplin as the main library, and make it more easy and accessible to the company’s designer team. The fifth and final task is to make the CMS features available in the program to make it much more simple and straightforward to change the content of the website without using the coding program or tool. More importantly, the program Design System can be more appealing to the team since they can manage it on their own, instead of using outsourced program like Zeplin. And with the addition of OCR feature or Optical Character Recognition which will enable the application to edit the content without typing just by scanning from a text or document so changing will be even easier. This program can also be used as my reference if I will be asked to create something similar in the future.
