This Final project presents a design and prototype of mini Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) by using a microcontroller. The system of mini AGV is based on autonomous forklift. The goals of the prototype of AGV is to move the object form one place to another place and continuously. Thus. there are several methods that is being used for AGV. First, to move the AGV line follower method is being used by using four obstacle detection sensors or infrared transmitter and receiver. Further, when all sensors are active, AGV is stopped. There’s an object with Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) tag outside. RFID reader that placed in front of the AGV activate stepper motor. Stepper motor moves the pulley that is joined with carriage. Third, AGV is sending the object to the specific place that has been decided earlier. Most of the components are using Arduino module compatible, except for chassis and several parts are using acrylic and 3D printed parts that have been designed using CATIA. |
