PT. AB is one of company that engaged in producing toys for children. One of toy that produced by PT. AB is a fashion doll. Fashion doll has various costume that worn by the doll. To make the costume there are six interested parties that will be involved. There are 20 process that required to make one whole costume. All of this processes have percentage target that has been set by the company. During peak season, one process that done by SGE department cannot achieve the performance target and the process is making flowchart die cut. It may be happened because of the process are experiencing lateness. Due to the lateness, SGE department experience loss of more than IDR 40,000,000 to pay the overtime cost. Therefore, this research will focused only on lateness of making flowchart die cut. To do an improvement, PDCA method is chosen. By doing the PDCA method, the improvement chosen is make VBA template to help the process of making flowchart die cut. The result shows that the improvement can overcome all root cause problem that exist before. And after implementation, the process that done by SGE department can increase percentage become 95.65%. |
