The emergence of COVID-19 makes employee has to do work remotely from home (WFH) as a response to the government regulation to minimize the spread of coronavirus. For women, especially married women, WFH might be another burden because of the dual responsibilities they carry, responsibility as an employee and responsibility as a wife even mother in the same time. This research aimed to analyze the Women Work-Life Balance during WFH due to COVID-19. This research takes the Remote Working, Work Stress, Workload, Work-Family Conflict, and Work-Life Balance as the variables to be analyzed further, because researcher would like to find out the effects of Remote Working on Work-Life Balance, Work Stress on Work-Life Balance, Workload on Work-Life Balance, also the effects of these variables towards Work-Life Balance mediated by Work-Family Conflict. To find out the result, data from 137 married women employees who experienced WFH and came from one certain company were taken. The researcher employed the quantitative research by using the SEM-PLS Method. As the result, not all variables are having the direct and indirect effect towards the Work-Life Balance. Work Stress to Work Family Conflict, Workload to Work-Life Balance, and Work Stress to Work-Life Balance through Work-Family Conflict are there hypotheses which resulted insignificant, while the others show significant result both directly and indirectly. Thus, it is crucial for all parties to maintain the Work-Life Balance of women employees and all the factors affecting the Work-Life Balance for the benefits of all parties. |
