MONITORING SYSTEM FOR SMART TRASH BINS WITH FILL LEVEL SENSOR AND ODOR SENSOR

Abstract

In this millennial era, technology can spoil many things. driven by a lifestyle where people want to be instantaneous now, an instantaneous lifestyle is where people want everything to be fast paced, easy and efficient. Technology has created amazing tools and resources, putting each person’s most useful information at their fingertips. With this revolution, technology can make human life easier, faster, and efficient. In this research, a smart trash bin will be developed and followed with the monitoring system for it. The smart trash bin can easily be used by the human because it can open the tray automatically if there is someone in front of the trash bins and also implement the sensor for fill level and the odor. In addition, this research implements the monitoring application for the smart trash bin, so that the user of the smart trash bin can monitor their smart trash bin status of fill level sensor, odor sensor, and see the activity log of their smart trash bin without checking it repeatedly. The smart trash bin fill level and odor status can be checked everywhere and anywhere.
