Abstract

Nowadays, music has become a common aspect in human’s life. With the rapid development of technology, music able to be found in human’s daily life so easily. There are so many digital music platforms that make it easier for people to listen to their favorite music. The rapid development of the music industry encourages many people to learn how to play music instrument, one of the most popular music instruments is guitar. Apart from the rapid development of the music industry, there are many other motivations that encourage people to learn to play guitar. There are people who want to make money through music and there are people who only want to express their emotion through music. There are 2 types of people in guitar learning: people who take guitar lessons and people who are self-taught. for self-taught guitarists, they are often not equipped with basic theoretical knowledge. This thesis will be developing an application to help and equip self-taught guitarist with basic knowledge in playing guitar through its features.
