Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of earning per
share, price earning ratio, current ratio, return on asset, and broad money supply
towards stock price of food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock
Exchange. This research used the quantitative method and conducted using
purposive sampling focus on 9 selected companies period 2011-2017, the number
of observations become 63 samples. The data analysis has proceed through the
panel data regression, classical assumption test, and multiple regression done by
Eviews 10. The t-test result shows that EPS with coefficient value of 7.43, PER
with coefficient value of 31.22, CR with coefficient value of 307.79 have positive
significant influence towards stock price, M2 with coefficient value of 7912.19
has negative significant influence towards stock price and ROA with coefficient
value of 2576.69 has negative insignificant influence towards stock price. The ftest result found that, independent variables that consist of EPS, PER, CR, ROA,
and M2 have simultaneously significant influence towards stock price.
Independent variables provide 89.6432% simultaneous influences towards
dependent variables. The rest of 10.3568% is influenced by other variables
outside the research.
