EUROPEAN UNION COMPREHENSIVE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH PEOPLE"S REPUBLIC OF CHINA THROUGH RULE-BASED TRADE AND FOREIGN INVESTMENTS FOR MAINTAIN BILATERAL RELATION (2015-2018)

Abstract

The European Union and China has been maintaining bilateral relation through trade and investment since 1975, and in 2003 both parties are realized they need each other. China currently becoming second largest trade partner for European Union, and also great partner also investment, thus make European Union expected through comprehensive strategic partnership could make China become one reciprocal benefit for European Union through strengthening bilateral relation among parties, in the other side while European Union strengthening bilateral relation with China, The EU is setting up strategy to open access market in Asia. In this research the author would like to analyses how did European Union strengthening its bilateral relation with China in trade and investment. For the methodology that the author going to use are qualitative research, in qualitative section the author make a thesis based on data from primary and secondary source that has been published on the European Union Literature and qualitative the author did interview to Delegation of European Union in Indonesia for strengthening the argument. European Union proposing comprehensive strategic partnership in China gives an opportunity for The EU in term of reciprocal benefit of open playing field, transparency, new access for trade and investment for long-term corporation and also open access to Asia.
